CONSIDER CHIC OUTERWEAR
“The runways ushered in coats and outwear looking whimsical and ultra feminine, yet modern in cotton candy pink, robin’s egg blue and mint green,” says stylist Dara Michelle. Keep the rest of your outfit basic with more familiar seasonal hues, such as camel, black, gray, or even dark crimson. Once you purchase your coat or jacket, make sure it’s taken to your tailor to ensure it fits your shape perfectly. Check out the full article here.

STUDY YOUR FIGURE
No two pairs of denim are alike, which means it’s essential to try before you buy. And while looking at yourself in front a dressing room mirror can be a daunting experience, stylists say to put your insecurities aside and instead focus on feeling your best. “Try on as many designers and styles as you can and study yourself in front of the mirror to get a thorough idea of what flatters you most,” say personal stylist Dara Michelle. “Don’t forget to walk around, jump up and down, sit down, and bend over to get a good feeling of them before you purchase them.” Check out the full article here.

TRANSITION TO FALL
Stylist Dara Michelle expects to see this trend into the cooler autumn season. “With no signs of slowing down, the high-low trend will take us into fall and also translate into all kinds of tops, including blouses and sweaters,” she says. “Think an oversized high-low sweater, skinny jeans, and some killer booties.” Check out the full article here.

Interview with Stylist – Dara Michelle It’s always amazing to me the jobs that stylists do on a day to day basis. Whether they are working a photoshoot, styling editorial dressing a celeb or putting together looks for regular people, they truly make an impact with their job. I am a firm believer in the idea that fashion can make a person shine. If you look good, you feel good and it shows. A good stylist can really change a persons life. Not in a vain way, but in a way that can build self confidence and a positive self opinion. Click here to see the full article

Take Note of Your Skin White can enhance your natural features without flaunting flaws if you pick the best shade that suits your skin tone. “All shades of white are fair game from optical white, oyster bone, stone, cream and off-white,” says personal stylist Dara Michelle. “You need to find one that flatters your skin tone without washing you out.” To make a chic statement, incorporate hues of beige on problematic areas. Read more: http://magazine.foxnews.com/style-beauty/how-wear-white-slimming-results#ixzz2XQfSUTvlhttp://magazine.foxnews.com/style-beauty/how-wear-white-slimming-results

Dara Michelle Style

21. June, 2013  AllTop News
Dara Michelle Ogulnick was born with an innate sense of style and fashion giving her the ability to predict the trends seasons early.  Dara Michelle Style originated when she perfected her skills and used her talents to plant the seeds of what would become a blossoming profession.  As a little girl in New York, her earliest childhood memory always included some fashion component spending most of her time playing dress-up praying for the day she could fit in to her mother’s high heels.   As soon as the stores on Fifth Avenue carried her size, her mom would drive her into the city for shopping at Henri Bendels, Bergdorf’s and Barneys to name a few.  As a teen, Nirvana ruled the radio so she turned to “the village” to perfect her grunge style, scoping out the local vintage stores as well as Patricia Field’s flagship, on East 18th street.  There she would spend hours trying on, accessorizing, creating… hence a stylist was born.
Her love for anything “fashion” carried her throughout her life. Dara Michelle studied fashion design at Parsons School of Design and after college worked atCotton Incorporated, on Madison Avenue in New York City, as a trend forecaster where she was paid to shop and predict the trends for upcoming seasons.  There, Dara Michelle would present the trend forecast to a room full of designers whose upcoming collections all began with her words.  Her playful approach to fashion leaves her friends and clients enjoying the “getting ready part” as much as the actual date or event. Why do her clients love her?  Dara Michelle pushes her clients to try new things and experiment with trends while still staying true to themselves.
“Style is how you feel, how you speak, how you move, how you live and your clothes should reflect that,” says Dara Michelle

Easily navigating through a wardrobe or a collection, Dara Michelle uses her talents to consistently create looks that are styled to perfection! As seen on Miami NBC and additional style broadcast segments, Dara Michelle Style is known throughout the South Florida community for professional styling, personal shopping and trend forecasting.
